Hey, I’m Daragh! 👋
I’m a recent graduate from University College Dublin with a first class honours in Physics with Astronomy and Space Science. I’m particularly interested in computing, and its applications to the field of space science. I’m currently a PhD student at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies with their Planetary Magnetospheres group. I study Mercury’s magnetosphere and its interaction with the solar environment through analysis of large data sets from the MESSENGER mission, and upon its arrival, BepiColombo. My focus is on magnetospheric boundary crossing identification through automated methods.
